mediensprache.net and its content is been realized by the project sprache@web that is affiliated to the German Institute at the Leibniz University of Hanover. So it is a non-commercial project with an academic background that wants to collect, document and communicate knowledge on "Language of and Communication on the Internet", "Language of Advertising", "Language of Mobile Communication", "Linguistically Orientated Media Analysis", and "Online Publishing".
